Vanquish 540
Description
Vanquish 540 gold and metal detector is the latest release
from global Minelab Australia awaited device that fulfilled its promises and provided a practical high-performance device with a very economical price.
The device works according to a new search technology that was first released in the Equinox device from the same company, a technology of simultaneous multiple frequencies or Multi-IQ and the principle of this technology is to use five different search frequencies for detection of targets simultaneously, which means wider coverage of different metal targets and multiple sizes.
Minelab Vanquish 540 offers a modern design and attractive features such as the possibility of adjusting the length to a minimum to facilitate carrying and the possibility of charging the batteries that run the device and wireless speakers and other useful features.
Vanquish 540 is a multi-purpose metal detector that can be used to meet all the needs of prospectors and gold and treasure hunters with a great economic price.
Minelab Vanquish Features
Multi-IQ Technology
One of the most important new features of the Vanquish 540 is Multi-IQ.
When using this feature in the device, the prospector can search for underground metal targets by using multiple search frequencies at the same time.
The device searches for buried targets using the following frequencies (5-10 – 15 – 20 – 40 kHz) simultaneously. This means that all small and large metal targets can be detected at the same time.
The use of this technology provides the possibility of detecting multiple buried metal objects of different precious and non-precious metals, knowing that the user can use a single frequency from the frequencies preceding the search.
Find Modes for All Terrain
Whatever you are looking for, Vanquish 540 ensures you discover it through the built-in find modes.
The user can easily select the appropriate find mode via the find mode button to the right of the display and can choose one of the following modes:
Coin Mode
As the name indicates, this mode is suitable for finding coins made of various metals (gold – silver – bronze) so that it contains suitable settings for the detection of small and large coins within shallow depths.
Relic Mode
This find mode designed to search for pieces of relics that are made of metal, for example, old weapons (swords, daggers, shields) and metal utensils used in the past for cooking and bronze statues
Jewellery Mode
Appropriate find mode to search for gold ornaments such as rings – bracelets – collars – crowns
All Metal Mode
It is the default general find mode where it searches for all precious and non-precious metals indiscriminately.
Note: The user can customize the appropriate find mode by adjusting the appropriate settings within the device software program.
Target ID
The digital target ID is a number within the range (-9 to 40) displayed on the digital device’s screen, related to incoming signals reflected from the metal target buried underground.
The target ID gives the prospector an idea of the nature of the metal type of the buried object. The target ID number ranges from -9 to 40. The target ID is used to distinguish one target type from another particular type, as follows:
The range from -9 to 0 is intended for ferrous metal objects (e.g. nails, iron scrap, soda cans)
Target ID range 1 to 40 denotes non-ferrous metal objects such as precious metals such as silver, copper or gold.
Discrimination Bar
The device screen includes in the upper section a rectangular bar divided into sectors marked by certain symbols indicating the type of metal target within this sector corresponds to 50 values of the target ID range, grouped in 5 regions or sectors.
The detected targets appear as illuminated sectors. Rejected targets (undiscovered or “empty”) appear to be illuminated or dimmed.
The discrimination bar includes the following sectors:
1 – Ferrous metals sector (target ID range from -9 to 0), e.g. iron nail – iron wire
2 – a sector of metal with very weak electrical conductivity (within the target ID range from 1 to 10), for example: very small nuggets of raw gold or foils of very small thickness
3 – Low conductivity metal sector (target ID range 11 to 20), e.g. aluminum or pure gold
4 – High – conductivity metal sector (target ID range 21 to 30), e.g. copper or bronze coins
5 – Weak metal sector with very high electrical conductivity (target ID range from 31 to 40), e.g. silver coin or teaspoon of silver
Iron Bias
The Iron Bias feature, the first of its kind in a metal detector, allows you to adjust ferrous metal detection settings between two values: High or Low.
This enables the prospector to adjust the field of ignoring some iron metal targets that the device may ignore, enabling better results by discovering valuable targets and ignoring scrap.
Easy program and user-friendly interface
Vanquish features an easy-to-use one-screen software that displays information and indicators all on the crystal screen at the same time.
The control panel buttons at the bottom and the sides of the screen can change many basic or advanced settings depending on the purpose of the search and various factors.
Examples of configurable settings include:
Select the find mode from the three modes mentioned previously.
Change the operating frequency between one of five frequencies or activate the Multi-IQ option.
Activate All-Metal mode for general all-metal search (via a special button on the control panel)
Change and adjust the sensitivity settings
Activate Pin Pointer mode for precise positioning of detected metals via a special button
Activate the backlight of the screen red light helps to read the screen when searching in the dark or in places with low light, for example within a cave
Set a range of advanced settings such as noise cancellation, ground balance, volume adjustment, and target sound tone.
Modern Practical Design
Equipped with high-quality, lightweight materials, the streamlined design is attractive and can be folded to a minimum to make it easy to carry and use in search fields.
The search coils are waterproof up to 1 meter under water, and the main unit (control box) is waterproof and included with rain cover
Included pinpoint mode to help you locate targets with extreme precision.
IRON BIAS
More treasure, less trash. Adjustable Iron Bias control lets you switch between High (default) and Low.
